On Saturday, November 2, 2024, Catholic Hospice teamed up with Catholic Cemeteries to host this year’s All Souls’ Day mass services at both of the Catholic Cemeteries in North Lauderdale and Doral. All Souls’ Day is celebrated every year on November 2 and commemorates the lives of our deceased loved ones.

The cemetery chapel at Our Lady Queen of Heaven in North Lauderdale was packed with attendees as Miami Auxiliary Bishop Enrique Delgado celebrated the mass. An overflow of attendees was brought to the new extension adjacent to the chapel where the mass service was projected on a big screen.

Archbishop Thomas Wenski celebrated the mass at a filled Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Doral for the Miami-Dade service. Attendees were given an opportunity to honor their deceased loved ones in a special way outside of the church. They wrote messages on heart-shaped paper and placed the messages collectively on a Memory Wall creating a beautiful display outside of the church.

Also, big thank you to Catholic Health Cemeteries for their partnership in this year’s services! May we continue to celebrate and honor the lives of our faithful and dearly departed.
